Sur is a seaside town in the North-East of Oman that in the past had a strong splendor in the field of trade with Asia and African countries, while today it is a quiet seaside town ideal for relaxing and enjoying its kilometer-long beaches, still not very touristy. A quiet seaside town, always kissed by the sun, which is protected day and night by the Royal Oman Police, whose new headquarters is located right in front of the port area, a thriving place of trade.
And right inside the "off-limits" area, the Clock Tower was built, echoing the slightly Arabian style but with a modern twist . This 30-meter-tall clock tower is truly unique thanks to its design and lighting systems, entirely made in Aldabra.
To illuminate the staircase, which provides access to the centrally positioned tower, 6 systems were installed lineacashed in, Throat, 57 cm long. In anodized aluminum, they allow you to illuminate the steps and create a suggestive atmosphere.
For lighting from below, 4 projectors were positioned Aton made of aluminium and with a warm white light colour of 3000 K and narrow 10° optics, for uniform light beams with an effect plastic. Ideal for illuminating the facades of monuments, they are the optimal solution to ensure that the work can be admired from any distance and in any season. It is impossible to “disturb” the view of so much beauty.
Furthermore, to highlight some architectural parts of the structure, 54 m of Strato, a high-power system that allows, thanks to the various degrees of optics used and the “enveloping” colour of the LEDs (3000 K), to give a touch of light and a completely personalised effect.
Aldabra has thus succeeded in illuminating the tower of time for a timeless illumination.
In fact, “time should not be measured in hours and minutes, but in transformations.”
